KITTEN INFO
We understand that purchasing a pedigree animal is a large amount of money to invest in a pet, so we have included a link to find out why quality, healthy animals cost what they do: www.mcbfa.org
The costs shown on that particular website are from many years ago, but you will get the gist of what goes into breeding pedigree cats.
How to choose your Breeder? Below is a well-written article by Donna Stanley who breeds Labradors. Her spiel on backyard breeders applies to Ragdolls as well. An ethical and responsible breeder will sell you your kitten with all of it's vet done for the first 12 months. Never be afraid to ask your breeder for a video of where their cats and kittens live. The parents of your kitten will also have completed DNA tests available for you to view. How to choose a breeder
We aim to breed for size, temperament and health. Genetic soundness is a given. Our pet kitten price is $3500 AUD. All of our kittens leave with two x F3 vaccinations, microchipped and speyed or neutered. All age appropriate parasite treatments are also done. Our kittens are available to leave home at 14-16 weeks of age, or as soon as they have recovered from their desexing surgery. We offer a kitten sales contract, lifelong support should you require it, and a kitten pack for those picking their babies up. Out kittens live around Australia and worldwide. All of our breeding adults are FIV (Feline Aids) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia) negative, and they have been DNA tested for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and polycystic kidney disease (PKD). When the adults are tested clear, this automatically means that their offspring will be clear. We find that it is imperative to test every breeding cat so that we continue to keep these precious bloodlines clear of these known predisposed diseases in ragdolls.

There are currently a lot of scams online trying to sell pedigree kittens. Always ask for a video of where the kittens are brought up. Also ask your breeder to show you how their cats live. If they only ship your kittens - avoid at all costs. Never ever send a deposit unless you know you're talking to a legitimate breeder. Please feel free to email us for more tips on how to spot a scam!
